The Lycoming Aviation Academy was established in 2021 by seven young Indian Tamil pilots with the mission of providing high-quality training for aspiring pilots and aviators. As of 2025, over 30 pilots have united to enhance aviation safety for the future.

We are a fast-growing pilot training organization based in Southern India, founded by seasoned aviation professionals. Our mission is to deliver world-class training with a strong focus on aviation excellence, safety, and education—empowering aspiring pilots to achieve their personal and professional goals. Our DGCA-approved programs provide not only high-quality flight training but also the crucial pre-employment skills needed for a successful aviation career. About Founder

Lycoming Aviation Academy was established in 2021 by a group of seven young Indian Tamil pilots who shared a common dream of making professional pilot training more accessible in India. Since its inception, the academy has been built on the principles of safety, discipline, and global standards in aviation education. At the helm of this vision is Mr. Sai Prasanth G, the Managing Director, who plays a pivotal role in shaping the academy’s growth and reputation. With his leadership, the academy has positioned itself as a hub for aspiring aviators to receive hands-on training, modern facilities, and internationally aligned flight programs. The leadership team collectively brings years of flying experience and industry insight, ensuring that every student receives not only technical expertise but also the values of professionalism and responsibility that define successful pilots. Their mission is not just to train pilots but to nurture future leaders in aviation who can confidently navigate global skies.
